New pics of my library

As I mentioned in the welcome section in the sidebar, I moved again in 2020. Mom and I bought a house in Michigan. Back to my home state after 30 years in Nashville. My part of the house has a beautiful open floor plan so my library IS my house. Bookshelves on every wall. I also have six 5-shelf ones in my bedroom, along with a few smaller ones for my Christmas books. I have a study (formerly my son's room) which has a large five shelf holding my writing books and in the closet is a very large shelf which holds all the children's books from my childhood, and my boys' childhood.

Here are a couple shots of a portion of my library. This is in the living room.

Here is a shot of a few of my bedroom shelves.

And this is a video of my study/witchy room.

Hoping to share my entire set-up at some point, and I still need to get my full book catalog on here. Hope you enjoyed a taste of my home library.

The Library...in Boxes

This is what 1800+ books look like when moved from a three bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment.  They are stacked in the dining area of our apartment so what you're seeing is the tip of the iceberg of boxes stacked 5 to 6 high and 4 to 5 wide.  It is going to be A LOT of work getting these on to the shelves...and I lost one of my largest bookshelves in the move.  It just fell apart! Luckily, I have another book shelf at my mom's that I can use for my movies and now use the movie book shelf for books.  Stay tuned for pics of the finished library.  I will also start adding my book catalog to the blog soon.
